My Favorite Ornaments (Christmas 2015)

Monday, December 7, 2015

I just love having new ornaments to add to our tree every year. Since we've been married, I've added some of my most favorites!
We got this one the night we got engaged. It was New Years Eve at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.
A student of mine gave this to me the Christmas after I became Mrs. Schneider. I love it because it's from this student, but also because it's our "got married" ornament!
Our close friends gave this ornament to us as a housewarming present when we bought our home. I think of them every year we put it on the tree.
My best friend gave me this the Christmas I was pregnant with Ty. I bawled...
This is Ty's "baby's first Christmas" ornament. I am giving Elena hers this year. I will have to show it next year! :)
Last year Ty made these salt dough ornaments for each grandparent and I made one for us. It was so cool to see him put his hand in his old hand print. HE HAS GROWN! We've made some this year with Elena's tiny hands,
When we got married, Justin's mom gave us a bag of his childhood ornaments. This one is my favorite. Handmade is best!
I love this time of year and all the tradition that comes with it! Happy Monday and Merry Christmas!

    1. If it were up to me, I would start the day after Halloween! HAHA! Usually I can convince my husband to start the weekend before Thanksgiving. :)
