December the 4th already?!?! Time is flying! The holidays have a way of making time speed by, don't they?
Everyday I have a favorite when the holidays are in full swing!
Movie Nights with the Christmas tree lit
I can never have enough nights cozied up with Justin on the couch, Christmas tree lit, and classic movie on the TV. There is something so relaxing knowing my kids are tucked safely in bed and sound asleep.  The lights of the tree just make home feel homier and the movies better. Line up for this year: Elf, Home Alone, The Holiday, Love Actually, The Santa Claus, and The Grinch. #classics

 Shutterfly
In my opinion, Shutterfly has been gettin it right for years now.  This Christmas especially. I have gotten many gifts from Shutterfly, including Elena's first ornament.  I love personalized gifts.  Here are some other presents we've received from Shutterfly in the past:
yearbooks
Father's Day coffee mug
ornaments

Elf on the Shelfin'
Alright, y'all. I am new at this whole elf thing. I am doing my best to make it fun, but not over do it and set the expectations of my two year old so high that it becomes a pain in my backside. So far this littel guy, whom Ty's named Chris (short for Christmas), has arrived with Skittles and stolen his "belt". Ty is amused so I am enjoying it. We shall see how the rest of this season goes!
Kudos to the mamas who do the outrageous adventures! You are rock stars.
Cookie Swap
Tuesday night's cookie swap was a SUCCESS! I just love the variety that my girlfriends bring every year. What's better than spending time with people you love, munching on homemade cookies? NOTHING.
Here were this year's players:
My sweet girl turned 9 months old on the 25th of November, but with Thanksgiving, her monthly picture was overlooked. I got this sweet picture this week of her. Elena is a such a little pistol at nine months old-- into everything, cute as a button, and always trying to keep up with Ty. If you could see her face when I give her a sippy cup like Ty, it's like she's won the lottery!  Also, I had to include this picture of Ty with the Christmas lights when he was about nine months. I love a side-by-side!
