It's been a crazy weekend. A few weeks ago Daddy and I got hit with a MEAN stomach bug and we did our very best to stay away from you so you wouldn't get it. You were an ANGEL... napped when we napped, when we recovered, you played. We couldn't have asked for a better boy! Just when we thought the bug passed, you started getting sick (you are not a spit-up baby) so over the weekend, after the pumpkin patch, we tried to keep you home to get well. Monday was the first day I have ever taken off work to take care of you and I must say that I feel so blessed that I got to spend the day with you. You definitely did not feel like yourself, but we got some awesome snuggle time in and we took a few pictures in our carved pumpkin. Thanks to Uncle Raj, your name was written across the front of it and it look FANTASTIC!!! You absolutely hated it at first...
But then your brother Holden showed you how to do it...
and you got the hang of it...
Even though you were under the weather, you just made the cutest pumpkin model. I know one day you will be totally embarrassed by these pictures, but just know how happy they make your mom and it was SO worth it! Your dad also happens to think they are awesome. We will treasure them forever (and whenever you get a brother or sister, we will do the same thing to them!)
